The fair acts as a catalyst for the development of Japanese Contemporary Art since the first edition held in 2013. It strives to increase public knowledge for Japanese contemporary art and offers a cross-cultural platform for visual art between Japan and Taiwan, in the hope of ameliorating the art landscape and vision in the country.
Associated cultural events will be held along with the fair to allow the attendees to savor Japanese contemporary art in its versatile form.

本藝博會自2013年首屆舉辦以來，一直是日本當代藝術發展的催化劑，致力於增加大眾對日本當代藝術的認識，並提供台日視覺藝術的跨文化交流平台，以期改善藝術景觀和視野。
